Instructor Participation Terms
Institutional FrameworkThe Instructor Registry of CERTH Lifelong Learning Centre (CERTH LLC) brings together specialised scientists and professionals with proven experience in adult education and a high level of expertise in the fields of research, innovation, and training.
The Registry operates on the principles of transparency, meritocracy, and scientific competence, with the aim of ensuring the quality and reliability of the Centre's educational activities.
1. Eligibility Criteria & Requirements
RequirementsApplicants are expected to demonstrate:
- Higher education relevant to the teaching subject.
- Professional and/or research experience in the relevant field.
- Adult Educator Certification from EOPPEP (Greek National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance) or an equivalent international credential, where required.
- Pedagogical competence in adult education, documented through certifications, experience, and/or teaching practice.
- Ability to use digital learning environments and live e-learning platforms.
- Commitment to principles of quality, ethics, and collaborative learning.
2. Application Process
Digital & transparentThe process for inclusion in the Instructor Registry is digital and transparent. Interested candidates submit their application through the relevant participation form, attaching the required supporting documents.
3. Instructor Responsibilities & Rights
Collaboration frameworkResponsibilities
- Adherence to the approved curriculum and the implementation schedule of the programme.
- Delivery of updated, documented, and pedagogically appropriate teaching material.
- Evaluation of learners with objectivity and consistency.
- Collaboration with the Secretariat and the academic coordinators.
- Compliance with the principles of academic integrity, respect, and confidentiality.
Rights
- Access to infrastructure, tools, and distance learning platforms.
- Technical and administrative support throughout the duration of the programmes.
- Information on quality policies and evaluation procedures.
- Opportunity to participate in training and professional development activities, where available.
4. Instructor Evaluation & Development
Continuous improvementCERTH LLC applies a continuous evaluation and feedback process for instructors, aiming at improving teaching quality and supporting professional development.
Evaluation includes
- Feedback from learners through anonymous questionnaires.
- Self-evaluation and reflection on teaching practice.
- Review by the Scientific Committee based on quality indicators.
Professional development is encouraged through
- Participation in seminars and workshops.
- Training and professional development initiatives.
- Updates on new pedagogical and digital practices.
